Sirona Therapeutic Horsemanship

Rosie (pictured above left) is a Cob-Cross mare. She is a very kind and gentle horse who teaches people well and particularly likes activities in the round-pen

Toro recently arrived from Spain where he was donated to Hannah for Sirona from Lucy Rees, one of our patrons. He is a young black Lusitano x gelding and is currently settling in and beginning his training which so far he has taken in his very relaxed stride. Toro has shown a talent for jumping, having jumped over the yard gate and out of his field so Hannah is looking forward to some jumping on him in the future!'

Chapas joined the Sirona herd last year. He was very kindly given to us by Lucy Rees and came all the way from Spain. Despite being rescued from a mountain in very poor condition and with terrible scars on his nose from ill treatment he has the most positive and cheerful nature, and is turning out to be quite a character!

Prince is a 15 HH piebald driving cob belonging to Ange, one of our horse handlers at Sirona. He has a vvery steady temperment and is going to drive our iBex chariot and hopefully help with harrowing the fields.

Beckett is a 14.3HH Welsh x TB and belongs to Jenny, our BHSAI at Sirona. He is a favourite with many of the young people who attend as he is well mannered and calm.

Elfa has gone off to be a brood mare for a year and has had a beautiful colt foal called Ramiro.

Zeph is a mini-shetland on loan to us from Hannahs at Seale Hayne. He has a really kind, sweet nature and is a great hit with everyone who meets him. His favourite acitivity is food
