Therapeutic Horsemanship
This form
of intervention provides the opportunity for people to learn more about
themselves and gain new skills through participating in activities centred on
natural horsemanship, in an outdoor, rural environment
Sirona
Director, Di Gammage is a qualified Play Therapist who works in conjunction
with a Horse Professional on a one-to-one basis with individuals. Therapy
sessions are particularly beneficial for young people for whom conventional
therapy is experienced as too intense or threatening
Horse Centred Education
This is a
range of educational activities that can be incorporated into sessions for
young people who find the formal classroom environment challenging. If
required, qualified teachers are able to tailor a course to individual
requirements, including links to the national curriculum.
• Taster
session followed by six, twelve or ongoing sessions
• Session
length - 1hr, 2hr and ½ day (depending on requirement)

can be tailored to suit needs
